Well, that was a joke. On Saturday night (around 5:30 pm) I left for San Antonio. It took about 12 hrs to get there (usually a 4 hr drive). Obviously, the trip was pointless. The hurricane completely missed southeast Texas. I did have fun though. It was a nice mini-vacation since I spent my entire summer taking summer classes. I had no wifi connection though (hence the lack of posting), so I’m glad to be back.

Hopefully Hurricane Ike will stay away from the gulf. I’m not sure if I can afford another evacuation.
